Webb's Rock!

Nick and I had a great reunion with our kids and grandkids. We bought T-shirts for all the family that had Webb's Rock on them. Which means we must always remember that the Savior is our rock, along with each one of our family. That is what we can each build on. Anyway, on Thursday we went to Lagoon. The kids loved it! Here is Emmie in the blue car, Logan in the orange car and Allie and Dax in the green car. Rattlesnake rapids were a lot of fun. Here is Jarom, Adrien, Amie and kids. Scott and Lacee were in the next ride.
Easton and Dax on the swings.
Clayton loved Lagoon. At first he wasn't so sure about the rides, but once it started to move, he was all smiles.
On Friday we were suppose to go boating, but the weather wasn't cooperating so we had a barbeque at Brion and Amie's house in Saratoga Springs, let the kids play in the little pool and then everybody went to Kangaroo Zoo which is a place where it is entirely made up of trampolines, even the walls!!
Kim trying to splash the kids
When Papa and Grammy pulled up to Brion's house on Friday, all the kids came running to greet us!! Cute!
On Saturday we had a big carnival at our house. We had lunch, played carnival games, made up some games until about 7:00 then ate pizza. Here is Adrien and Kate
One of the favorite of the kids was the pig trough. I made little pig noses out of an egg carton and Nick made a tough out of wood which we covered with tin foil. I raised a couple of pigs when I was a teenager named Pork and Beans. All of the grandkids have heard me tell stories about those little rascals!! So this was really fun to eat ice cream "like Pork and Beans". This first picture is of our youngest, Lexie. She watched everybody eat and then dove in. I couldn't believe it!!
Lexie, Brion and Scott goin' at it!! Notice they even have their noses on!
Before they were lead to the pig trough. Aren't they cute?
The egg toss
We had the dad's lay down and I made jigglers for the kids to drop into their dads mouths. I'd say that is a pretty big mouth, wouldn't you?
We had a cupcake walk. We drew numbers on the basketball bank and if they landed on a number they got to come and get a cupcake. I put on a jazzy CD and away they went. Jarom was the last one, and we made him go around and around until the song was over.
The kids loved the fish pond. Nick and I loved the fish pond at the old Relief Society Bazaars. So I bought a sheet and drew a picture on it, Nick got his fishing pole and they loved the prizes. After the carnival there were several prizes left and the kids went back and did this themselves. It was really neat.

After we had pizza in the evening we had a little program where our children were asked to talk about who they were named after. Jarom Nicholas was named after Nick, but Nick was named after his great grandfather who came from Switzerland and Jarom talked about him. Brion Felt was named after my dad Robert Felt Chatfield and he talked about him. Scott James was named after my grandpa and Scott gave some interesting stories about him as well. Kimberly Ann and Spencer weren't there on Saturday, but she was named after Nick's grandma that came to live with them when he was little. Bretton Karl was named after Nick's dad. After the program the kids watched a movie and the adults played cards until late. It was loads and loads of fun. Can't wait until next year.

Wow! What a fun time for everyone! It's so neat that you can do that and that all of your kids are close by. What a fun family you have and it looks like everyone had a great time! LOVED the pig trough and all of the carnival games. You guys are amazing grandparents and your grandkids (and of course your kids) are so blessed to have you. Those are memories that will never be forgotten.
