Emmie's Baptism

Emmie was baptized and confirmed on Saturday, August 28, 2010. Our first grandchild. She was so excited about it. All the Webb's and Allen's came to witness this big event in her life. Even some of the neighbors were there, including the non-members that live next door. Jarom baptized and confirmed her a member of the church. It was a wonderful blessing. Here are some pictures of her special day: This is Emmie and Jarom All the kids in the family sang: Daxton, Landon, Lexie, Logan, Claire (Adrien's sisters cute girl), Kate and Allie. Easton and Clay were too shy to go up.

It was a really neat day. The first of many of this kind we hope. We are so proud of you Emmie!!!

More Spotlights

This is our little EDW. She is our oldest grandchild. She is getting baptized on Saturday and we are thrilled with her decision. She is very bright and has been able to read since she was 5. She loves school and dance and is a wonderful older sister. We love you more than tongue can tell! On the left is our LBW. He is our second grandchild. He is very smart as well. He loves the outdoors and any ball he can get a hold of. He is a great golfer (Brion takes him), soccer player (when we watched he made 4 goals) and baseball player (he was the only one who could slide into home). We love you more than tongue can tell!

Here is our little AMW. What a cutie! She has strawberry blonde hair (except in the summer it is more blonde) and always is smiling. She started kindergarten this year and when I said, "I bet you are going to be the smartest in your class." She said, "Yup". I love that! She loves dancing and playing with her dolls. She is total girl. We love you more than tongue can tell!

Climb Every Mountain

Since Brett came home from his mission he has been excited to climb Timp and Deseret Peak. Every year Nick and the boys go up the Unitas or climb Timp, sometimes both. Deseret Peak is the highest peak in Tooele County and is quite a hike. Here are some pictures: This is Brett climbing Timp. Pretty wild flowers. It was so crowded the day they went up there was a back-up on the trial.Earlier in the season the wildflowers are really bright. This is my #1 guy :)

Every year they see wild life. Moose, pikas and mountain goats. This mother goat and her kid were only a few feet away from them.

Instead of going down the way they came up, Nick and Brett decided to go down the Aspen Grove side. Never, never, never again will they do that. It takes just a long and is twice as steep. It was really hard on Nick's knees. But on the way down there was a lot of water falls that were really pretty. It was really dry on the way up.

Out of the Mouths of Babes

Yesterday was Fast Sunday and testimony meeting in the ward we are called to serve was amazing. The first testimony was by a little girl about 6 or 7 years old. Her testimony touched my heart so much I wrote it down right after she sat down. It went like this: "I love Jesus and Heavenly Father and I know They love me. I would like to talk about families. What would we do without families? It would be vewy, vewy (she couldn't say her r's) sad. I have a baby sister and I give her a lot of attention and love. My mom is kind and gentle. My dad doesn't believe in Jesus or Heavenly Father, but I know They still love him anyway." The truth is, this little girl said some very deep and truthful things. It would be sad to not belong to a family and Heavenly Father and Jesus do love everyone. She knows and feels more than many, many people in the world do. She was so sweet.
