This is our sweet little Easton. Cute right? He is like his dad (Scott) usually quiet, so when he speaks, you had better listen up!! On Friday we had Dax, Easton, Logan and Landon over for dinner in the back yard. We roasted our hotdogs in the fireplace out back and were all sitting around the picnic table when all of a sudden Grammy (thats me BTW) burst out in song (the old family toothbrush). When all of a sudden Easton turns to me and says...."quiet!" I stopped, we all laughed, and I kissed the top of his head. After a while it was time for marshmellow roasting. We were all gathered around the fire trying not to catch our MM on fire, when I burst into song again (I'm an old cowhand), when Easton said...."quiet!" We all had a good laugh and I kissed him on the top of his head again. I'm sure as I am writing on this blog, that the only reason Easton said "quiet" was to get a kiss from me.......and if you believe that, I have some property I want to sell you!

I do that in the car sometimes... just burst into song. It kind of freaks out my kids and I know quietly they're thankful that their friends aren't in the car. :) What a fun grandma you are! I missed talking to you at church a couple of weeks ago. IT was so fun to see everyone. Tell everyone "hi".
What a cutie...and I'm sure it was for the kiss! :)
Hey these kids sometimes just don't appreciate the finer moments of life.
Did you tell him you sang in the choir. That is pretty funny and I'm sure he did just need a kiss, but I really don't need any land right now but thanks for the offer. LOL
Annie asks me to please stop when I sing. I'm just grateful she says please!
But I'm no choir woman like you, so go figure.
Hey - I sent you an invite to our blog - let me know if you can get in or not.
PS - Tell Scott his little boy is adorable!
